This site is designed to support teachers as they investigate ways to encourage "thinking" in the classroom.  Many times our instructional practices focus on memorization, considered to be a "low level" thinking activity, when in real life people must be able to reason, analyze, and make decisions.

Thinkology is a powerful technology resource for anyone interested in integrating higher order thinking skills into their everyday classroom curriculum.  Thinkology is the first educational software series which teaches authentic critical thinking skills as defined in academic literature. Each title in the series features a single, distinct Critical Thinking Skill. Animated movie shorts describe in context the Critical Thinking Skill being taught. Following each movie, engaging Activities are presented allowing students to use Critical Thinking Skills to resolve problems and answer questions.
