LTCY 444, 444/G and LTCY 421, 421G
Professionalism, Participation, Collegiality (20 points)
| Participation in this course is mandatory! This also includes collegiality, effort, etc. You are required to regularly check your email and to check Blackboard for announcements, explanation of assignments, recommended resources, etc. You are also expected to communicate regularly with the Instructor and other students via email. You have the option of chatting "live" with the Instructor via the chat capabilities in Blackboard (or AOL Instant Messenger) during the semester. Instructions for using this chat facility are found on the FAQ page (http://www.pampetty.com/444421faq.htm) ... it is easy, don't worry. You must put a homepage in Blackboard by August 22, 2003 (see above for directions). |

NOTE: It is often easy to get unhappy about something and "fire off" an angry email. It does not make for a pleasant learning atmosphere when that happens. I try to keep my messages to you light and considerate - while giving you the information you need and answering your questions. Thank you for keeping your correspondence professional at all times.
NOTE: If you have AOL Instant Messenger (does NOT require AOL service; does NOT cost anything), I will accept this in place of email and the live "chat" in the virtual classroom (Blackboard). Please IM me and I will add you to my "buddy" list. This is a QUICK and efficient method of conversing. You can download the program from http://www.AOL.com.
