Rationale:

The purpose of this assignment is to allow LTCY 420 students to demonstrate technology literacy and to share literary experiences, resources, and links to other educational websites.

Product/Task (identified): 

You will be expected to demonstrate your use of technology by composing a 7-page website. 

Performance Criteria:

1)  Register for free on-line web space (or use your WKU free web space). WKU WebMaster's Corner- Go to this site to publish your website on WKU's server.  

2)  Use Composer, FrontPage, or other composing program to design a homepage,
     and pages containing your literacy vignette, a bibliography of favorite or
     recommended children’s literature, and educational/professional links to other
      websites. You may add other dimensions to your website, such as photographs,
      personal interests, etc. 

·        The design of this site should reflect your personality and highlight your talents. 

·        You do NOT have to include a photo of yourself or personal information. 

·        The site should be attractive, the links should work, and you should do the site YOURSELF.
