Literacy Resource File 

The Literacy Resource File will require the following TYPES of materials:  portable file case , hanging folders, hanging folder tabs, file folders.  You can acquire the materials from any place you like (I just linked them so you could see the TYPES of materials ... not necessarily to order them on-line). The goal is to develop a VALUABLE resource file for students to use in LTCY 420, student teaching, and the classroom.    The Literacy Resource File will contain the following materials:

  1. Folders labeled according to the chapter chart on the syllabus.

  2. Comprehension strategy activities from each chapter filed in the corresponding folder.  

  3. Readings, resources, and class notes that correspond to the topics of each folder.

  4. Phonics Kit.

Literacy Resource File does not  reflect a student who plans to use the file as a major source of resources and information.  This work appears to belong to someone who does not demonstrate that they value the importance "best practice" in reading instruction.
