
College Reading Success is a two-hour degree credit course designed to provide practical instruction in skills needed for success and
retention in college. This course will assist in learning techniques that
will help students:
- Manage the volume of required reading
- Improve comprehension and retention
- Develop skills for vocabulary development
- Increase time management skills
- Improve test taking strategies
- Gain skills and strategies for better note-taking
Students in LTCY 080 will use reading materials from
CURRENT courses in which they are enrolled as primary print resources during the
weekly instructional sessions (Tuesdays 5:00 – 6:15 with a 45 minute weekly
e-session for practice and enrichment).
