Welcome!

College Reading Success is a two-hour degree credit course designed to provide practical instruction in skills needed for success and retention in college. This course will assist in learning techniques that will help students:

  • Manage the volume of required reading
  • Improve comprehension and retention
  • Develop skills for vocabulary development
  • Increase time management skills
  • Improve test taking strategies
  • Gain skills and strategies for better note-taking

Students in LTCY 080 will use reading materials from CURRENT courses in which they are enrolled as primary print resources during the weekly instructional sessions (Tuesdays 5:00 – 6:15 with a 45 minute weekly e-session for practice and enrichment).
